Wireless Transmission
Unlike standard VGA/TV converters, which require a hardwired connection between a PC and the TV, this model transmits audio and video signals without wires. It's like getting a VGA/TV Converter and a separate wireless video distribution system for the price of one product! Signals are transmitted over the high-bandwidth 2.4GHz band, ensuring picture quality that's as good as a cabled connection.
Easy Plug-and-Play Set-Up
The Wireless VGA/TV Converter is a totally plug-and-play device — no software is required, giving your PC one less reason to lock up and crash. The converter is compatible with any PC or laptop (including Macs) with HD15 VGA standard connection. It handles resolutions up to 1600 x 1200, and supports practically every video system type, including NTSC, NTSC-EIAJ, PAL-N, PAL, PAL-M, PAL combination-N and SECAM (via RGB out). It also supports CVBS, S-Video or RGB video outputs via wired connections.
Compatible With Older TVs With Optional RF Modulator
Have an older TV without composite inputs? No problem! Simply use a Channel 3/4 RF modulator (#7756), which converts the composite video signal from the video converter to an antenna signal which can be viewed on channel 3 or 4.
Fine Tune Images Directly From the Transmitter
You'll also be able to fine-tune the television image directly from the transmitter. You can even toggle between zoom and normal displays for the converted computer displays! Simply touch the MENU button when you want to cycle through other functions, including freeze, HSIZE, VSIZE, brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, video standard, flicker, OSD color and reset.
System Contents
The system includes a wireless transmitter, wireless receiver, an S-Video cable, a video cable, a PC to TV audio cable, an audio pass-through cable (so that your existing monitor continues to work normally without swapping cables), an H cable for VGA connection, audio/video cables for the receiver and power adapters. Portable notebook computer users will also appreciate the included battery pack, giving them true mobile freedom throughout the home, even if there's no power available (uses four AA batteries, sold separately).
