The Whisper-Quiet Motorized Drape Controller mounts easily on a wall (rather than on the drapery track) and plugs into an AC outlet to open and close up to 75 lbs. of drapes (depending on the model).
Unlike other automated drapery systems, this heavy-duty motorized drape controller offers whisper-quiet operation and a non-invasive installation process -- it does not require cutting your drape cord! Simply thread your drapery cord through the unit's unique drive pulley system and your draperies will smoothly traverse at the touch of a button. The controller can reverse direction from any point, has three adjustable load settings and automatically stops at fully open or closed positions. You can operate the Motorized Drapery Controller directly from the unit itself, or plug it into a switch-controlled AC outlet for switched control.
The 318275 model pulls up to 75 lbs. of fabric weight and features a low-voltage push-button switch, and can be connected to your X10 system a Universal Module through one of the dual RJ-11 jacks (cord not included). The 318275X includes all the parts and cables to have the drapes controlled by X10 (motor #318275, cable #3182CBL, and Universal Module #2010).
