 To ensure network reliability 2 SignaLinc RF's are required in each home with INSTEON (patent pending) enabled products. While a single SignaLinc RF will bridge INSTEON signals between radio frequency and powerline signals, two properly installed SignaLinc RFs will also act as powerline signal repeaters, maximizing the reliability of your INSTEON network.
