Automating 220V lights, spa heaters, pool pumps, air conditioners, and other 220V appliances is a snap with this double-pole wall switch. Once installed, (it takes about 5 minutes), you can control connected devices locally at the switch, or remotely activate them from any X10 transmitter. Wire this switch between the two hot wires from the circuit breaker box and the 220-volt load. If used outdoors, mount it in a weatherproof enclosure.
Now you can activate your pool pump from your kitchen. Switch on your spa from inside the house so the water is perfectly heated when you arrive.
